The 2025 Nissan Patrol has hit the Australian market with a range of upgrades aimed at enhancing its interior and technology features. These updates come as part of a mid-life refresh for the popular family off-roader. As a result, the prices for different trims have seen a slight increase, with the Patrol Ti now priced at $90,600, the Ti-L at $102,100, and the Premcar-fettled Patrol Warrior at $105,660.
Last year, the ‘Y63’ Patrol was officially unveiled, showcasing the transition from a V8 engine to a V6 powertrain. The latest model is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo engine producing 425hp and a 3.8-liter naturally aspirated V6. However, the V8 option is still available for now.
One of the key upgrades for the 2025 model year is the introduction of a new 12.3-inch central touchscreen across the lineup, replacing the previous 10.1-inch screen. This updated infotainment system now includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, in-built navigation, and a wireless charging feature. Additionally, a customizable 7.0-inch TFT Driver Dash Display, Off-Road Monitor, and Intelligent Around-View Monitor with Moving Object Detection have been added.
The interior of the Patrol has also received a makeover, offering two color schemes: a black leather-accented layout or a chestnut palette with woodgrain accents and quilted leather seats. The top-tier Patrol Ti-L now boasts a premium 13-speaker BOSE sound system, a cool box in the center console, and a digital high-definition Intelligent Rear View Mirror.
Nissan’s Vice President and Managing Director, Andrew Humberstone, emphasized that the 2025 Patrol enhances cabin comfort and driving technology while maintaining the vehicle’s core strengths in practicality and capability. The Patrol continues to be powered by a 5.6-liter V8 petrol engine, delivering 298kW and 560Nm through a seven-speed automatic transmission.
For the MY25 models, the Nissan Patrol Ti and Patrol Warrior come equipped with features like the Off-Road Monitor, 12.3-inch infotainment system with wireless charging, satellite navigation, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a seven-inch TFT dash display, and the Intelligent Around-View Monitor with Moving Object Detection. Exclusive to the Warrior trim are black side steps.
These updates position the 2025 Nissan Patrol as a strong contender in the family off-roader segment, catering to the evolving needs of Australian families seeking adventure and comfort in their vehicles. With its blend of technology, comfort, and capability, the Patrol remains a popular choice among off-road enthusiasts and urban dwellers alike.
