Land Rover has unveiled updated variants and features for the Discovery Sport for the model year 2026. The Dynamic SE and Dynamic HSE trims have been replaced by the Landmark and Metropolitan trims, with the entry-level S now known as the Dynamic S.
The Landmark trim boasts a mountain-range logo on its tread plates and puddle lights. It offers a range of features including sliding and reclining second-row seats, Click & Go media holders, a panoramic glass roof, and a 3D surround camera system.
Meanwhile, the Metropolitan trim showcases Atlas Silver Discovery lettering on the bonnet and tailgate, along with Indus Silver finished front and rear skid plates. The interior is equipped with luxurious amenities such as 14-way electrically adjustable heated and cooled seats, a premium 650W 14-speaker Meridian Surround Sound System, Clearsight Rear View Mirror, and Cabin Air Purification Plus.
On the exterior, the Metropolitan trim features new 20-inch Diamond Turned multi-spoke alloy wheels, which can be optionally finished in Gloss Black. The front grille receives a silver foil insert, and Metropolitan-branded tread plates adorn the doors.
The entry-level Dynamic S now sports a Gloss Black finish on the front grille, wheel arches, lower bumpers, and body claddings. Inside, it boasts a digital instrument cluster, steering-mounted paddle shifters, and an 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen with Pivi Pro infotainment system, supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Despite the cosmetic updates, the mechanical aspects of the Discovery Sport remain unchanged. The SUV continues to offer Ingenium petrol and diesel engines with plug-in hybrid and mild hybrid technology, ensuring a blend of performance and efficiency.
Land Rover’s decision to refresh the Discovery Sport lineup reflects the brand’s commitment to offering a premium and technologically advanced driving experience to its customers. The introduction of new trims and features enhances the appeal of the SUV in a competitive market, catering to the evolving preferences of modern consumers.
As the automotive industry continues to evolve with advancements in technology and design, Land Rover’s updates to the Discovery Sport demonstrate the brand’s adaptability and innovation in meeting the demands of luxury SUV enthusiasts. The blend of luxury, performance, and cutting-edge features in the updated variants reinforces Land Rover’s position as a leader in the premium SUV segment.
