The 2024 Hyundai Staria and Staria Load have received a mild update for the upcoming model year, introducing new convenience features and a slight price increase. The enhancements include 2D badging, additional USB-C ports, and blind spot collision warning, among other improvements. The base Staria now starts at $49,500, while the Staria Load begins at $46,740.
Notable upgrades on select variants include Hyundai’s Bluelink connected services, rain-sensing wipers, and a next-generation key fob. The Staria range remains largely unchanged in terms of equipment and mechanical specifications, maintaining features like 18-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, and adaptive cruise control.
The top-tier Staria Highlander boasts premium additions such as a dual sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, and a blind spot view monitor. On the other hand, the Staria Load van comes with features like wireless phone charging, an 8.0-inch infotainment system, and keyless entry.
All Staria Load vans are powered by a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine, while the Staria people-mover offers a choice between the diesel variant and a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine. Despite speculations, Hyundai Australia has not confirmed the release of a front-drive diesel variant or the Staria hybrid in the local market.
Prices for the 2024 Hyundai Staria range from $49,500 for the base model to $67,500 for the Highlander CRDi. The Staria Load lineup starts at $46,740 and goes up to $51,740 for the Premium variant. These prices exclude on-road costs.
Hyundai’s decision to introduce these updates reflects the brand’s commitment to enhancing its people-mover and commercial van offerings. With features like Bluelink connected services and advanced safety technologies, the 2024 Staria models aim to provide a more convenient and enjoyable driving experience for customers.
As the automotive industry continues to evolve, manufacturers like Hyundai are focusing on integrating cutting-edge technologies and premium features into their vehicles. The mild update to the 2024 Staria and Staria Load demonstrates Hyundai’s dedication to meeting consumer demands and staying competitive in the market.
