This sourcing contract entails supplying Ford with titanium metal powder and manufacturing components over a 45-month period, set to commence next year. As part of the deal, adjustments might be made to component designs before production commences, pending final engineering evaluations. IperionX is gearing up to conduct a thorough ‘finishing study’ on the titanium components to explore various surface finishes, crucial for determining the ultimate design and costs of these sustainable components.
