Kemal Curic, known for his tenure as the head of Lincoln design, has been appointed as the new head of design for the Ford Performance Vehicles division. Hailing from Sarajevo and having grown up in Germany and Croatia, Curic’s passion for American Muscle Cars and vehicle design dates back to his formative years. With a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design and a Master’s degree in Transportation Design, Curic commenced his professional journey at Ford of Europe in 2003, contributing to the design of notable models like the Fiesta, Mondeo, and Kuga. His career then led him to Dearborn, USA, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the 2015 Mustang.
In a progressive trajectory, Curic assumed the role of Exterior Design Manager for the Lincoln Continental in 2013, subsequently advancing to the position of Chief Designer for the all-new Aviator and Corsair. His remarkable portfolio includes successful projects such as the China Zephyr and the Nautilus, as well as overseeing the development of the latest Navigator. Transitioning to his recent position as Head of Design for Lincoln in 2019, Curic has consistently demonstrated a flair for innovation and style.
Embarking on this new chapter at Ford Performance, Curic is entrusted with enhancing the visual appeal and design language of iconic models like the Mustang and Ranger Raptor.
