DEEPAL, a new energy vehicle (NEV) brand under Changan Automobile, celebrated a significant achievement on June 10 by surpassing the milestone of 500,000 global vehicle deliveries. This accomplishment underscores the brand’s growing presence in the market.
In May, DEEPAL reported a remarkable surge in deliveries, with 25,521 vehicles distributed across its diverse lineup, signaling a robust year-on-year growth of 78% and a notable month-on-month increase of 27%. Among the models offered by DEEPAL are the SL03, S07, G318, L07, S05, and the recently introduced S09.
The DEEPAL S09, a six-seat large-sized SUV, made its official debut on May 22, 2025, quickly gaining traction in the market with a range of five trim levels catering to various preferences and needs. Priced between 239,900 yuan and 309,900 yuan, the S09 boasts advanced features, including the HarmonySpace 5 smart cockpit system and Huawei’s Qian Kun intelligent ADS 3.3 driving assistance system.
Looking ahead, DEEPAL has ambitious plans to expand its product portfolio by introducing the all-electric L07 sedan and an updated version of the rugged G318 SUV in 2025. Additionally, the company aims to establish 300 new experience centers in the coming year, with a strategic focus on third- and fourth-tier cities.
Having already made inroads into Southeast Asia and the Middle East, DEEPAL is gearing up to enter the European market by the third quarter of 2025, a move expected to further propel its sales growth and global footprint.
During the recent DEEPAL Brand Night event, CEO Deng Chenghao unveiled the “Smart Lead 2030” global strategy, outlining ambitious targets for the brand. The strategy aims to achieve total global sales of 2 million vehicles by 2030, with overseas markets projected to contribute 35% of the sales volume. As part of this vision, DEEPAL plans to introduce 30 new models by the end of the decade, signaling a commitment to innovation and market expansion.
DEEPAL’s strategic roadmap underscores its commitment to innovation, customer-centric offerings, and global expansion, positioning the brand as a key player in the evolving landscape of new energy vehicles. With a strong focus on technological advancements and customer experience, DEEPAL is poised to make significant strides in the automotive industry in the years to come.
