The day also saw remarkable performances, including the quickest Nitro Funny Car passes in Australian history by Morice McMillin and a record-setting field of Pro Stock Motorcycles.
Top Fuel showcased Damien Harris dominating the field, nearly resetting his Australian speed record. His Rapisarda Autosport International teammate, Wayne Newby, and Phil Lamattina also delivered impressive performances. The XPRO Nitro Funny Cars saw Morice McMillin’s breakthrough, setting records and securing the Top Qualifier spot with a blazing 3.929/511.19kph run.
