Volkswagen has unveiled the pricing details for its forthcoming ID.4 and ID.5 electric SUVs in Australia. The ID.4 will start at $59,990, while the sportier ID.5 GTX will be priced from $72,990, excluding on-road costs. These models are part of the 2025 VW range, with the initial lineup consisting of the ID.4 Pro and ID.5 GTX.
The ID.4 Pro boasts a range of premium features, including tri-zone climate control, luxurious upholstery, heated front seats with massage function, a large infotainment system, and a panoramic roof. It is powered by a 210kW motor drawing energy from an 82kWh battery, offering a range of up to 544km on a single charge and accelerating from 0-100km/h in 6.7 seconds.
On the other hand, the ID.5 GTX comes equipped with a dual-motor setup generating 250kW, enabling it to reach 100km/h in 5.4 seconds with a range of up to 522km. The exterior features a sportier design with 20-inch alloy wheels and a sloping roofline, while the interior offers sports seats, premium audio, and similar amenities to the ID.4 Pro.
