With the summer season approaching, Ford Performance has unveiled the Ford Bronco Coastal Package, a retro-inspired transformation that exudes California beach vibes. This package is designed to give the four-door Bronco a nostalgic look reminiscent of the 1980s, perfect for cruising down to the beach in style. The Coastal Package features sunset-gradient stripes, silver accents, and a clear bimini top, creating a surf wagon aesthetic that embodies laid-back weekend vibes.

The standout feature of the Coastal Package is its silver surfer aesthetic, which elevates the rugged Bronco into a vehicle that could easily fit into a vintage Beach Boys music video. The package includes iconic silver finishes on the wheels, fender flares, and grille, giving the entire truck a cohesive and upscale appearance. The sunset-themed stripe graphics running along the sides of the Bronco in a vibrant ’80s color palette add a retro touch that completes the look.

In addition to the visual upgrades, the Coastal Package comes with a 2-inch Off-Road Suspension Lift Kit, providing the Bronco with extra ground clearance for easier navigation through soft sand. Ford also includes a Pro Cal Tool to recalibrate the speedometer after installing the lift kit, ensuring a seamless driving experience without any surprises.
While the Coastal Package offers a range of enhancements, it does not include new tires, leaving the choice of tires to the customer. Ford supplies five wheels, including a spare, but buyers are responsible for selecting tires based on their preferred use – whether for off-roading adventures or daily driving. The package assumes a tire size of 33 inches, so adjustments may be needed if opting for the standard Base, Big Bend, or Outer Banks rubber.

One of the standout features of the Coastal Package is the clear bimini top adorned with the Bronco logo. Unlike traditional soft-tops that block out sunlight completely, this mesh-style top provides shade while still allowing plenty of natural light inside the vehicle, striking a perfect balance between protection and an open-air driving experience.
Ford offers two variants of the Coastal Package to cater to different needs. The full kit includes all the mentioned upgrades, priced at $5,400, while a separate package for Badlands models excludes the lift kit and Pro Cal Tool, priced at $2,850. Both packages are compatible with various engine and transmission combinations, except for vehicles equipped with the Sasquatch Package.

While the Coastal Package can be installed by buyers who are handy with tools, opting for dealer installation significantly increases the cost. Reports suggest that dealer installation can raise the price from $5,400 to $8,500, providing the convenience of professional installation while maintaining the full Ford warranty.
The Ford Performance Bronco Coastal Package is now available for purchase through Ford Performance’s website and select dealers, offering enthusiasts the opportunity to transform their Bronco into a retro beach cruiser that captures the essence of 1980s California style.
