Issue 7 - Tony Lind VX Commodore
The Holden Commodore has always been a good car to modify, the later model V8s especially, because of their standard high performance rating, and they are easy to get go fast bits for. The HSV Clubsport has always been a popular choice when it comes down to it because they already look tough from the factory. Tony Lind chose a 2002 VXII Clubsport when he decided he wanted a cool ride. He’s owned it for a good five years and said it was a good clean car but was completely stock. Now Tony isn’t a man that likes to leave things stock. The truckload of cars he owned back in New Zealand, including a 1000hp JC Cosmo are testimony to that. It took just two years for the customising bug to bite again and Tony started tinkering with the VX. -

Issue 2 - Dad's Day Out - Mackay 2010
For some of us Father’s Day is all about relaxing with the kids and taking the day off to enjoy the attention that being a Dad brings on this special day each year. For around two and a half thousand Mackay and District locals though it was a little bit different, they made the pilgrimage to Pinnacle (west of Mackay Queensland) for the Annual Shannons Dad’s Day Out Show and Shine that was put on by Russel Soper from Shannons Insurance and ably assisted by the newly formed Pioneer Valley Classic Car Club. - Story by Russel Soper -
Issue 4 - Stadium Drift Grand Final 2010
The sixth and final round of Raceline Events' Stadium Drift series came to the Gold Coast Parklands on November 13th and 14th. After seven hours of practice on the Saturday, racing on Sunday began with drivers already pushing the limits of the track. Street, L2 and Pro classes all raced at the event, and brought with them some vivid illustrations that the Pro competition is going to be even more fierce next year as L2 drivers fight to make their way up the chain. Conditions were good, practice day bringing clear skies and finals day being threatened with looming storm clouds, which kindly held off long enough for the event to finish. In typical Queensland summer style the sun was blistering, but it did not discourage the crowd.
