In the case of the ’68 HK Holden ute you see here, it’s doubtful that even the owner, Rick Farnell, would have completely envisioned the eventual product. In fact, when Rick first bought the car, powered by a 186 red motor, for just $700 in 1999, his plan was to build a tough streeter for the dual purpose of cruising and drag racing.
